Live’Bot
LIVE'BOT is an artistic/research project on the content of dialogue between people and machines, in the form of a conversation between the artist, Violka Kuś (Live) with the application cleverbot.com (Clev).
An analysis of the research material makes up the content of the three-month conversation between “Live” and “Clev”:
➣ Psychological analysis
The psychological evaluation by Dr Elwira Brygoła was prepared on the basis of the research material that was gathered. Two independent evaluations of the two participants in the conversation, a person (Live) and a machine (Clev), were created to show a general analysis of the emotional and motivational functioning of each of the interlocutors, as well as the method of establishing and maintaining social relations between them.
➣ Graphs of the analysis of the text portions of the dialogue, and IPP and NEO-PI-R psychological tests
The expert analysis was conducted by the linguists Dr Marta Gruszecka-Pikusa and Dr Michał Pikusa. The graphs present an analysis of the body of texts of the Dialogue. The maps were created on the basis of the words around which the conversation developed between the artist and the application Cleverbot. The charts also apply to the interpretation of psychological tests (IPP - Psychological Gender Inventory) and NEO-PI-R (Personal Inventory) conducted in collaboration with the ICNT Neurocognitive Laboratory in Toruń.
➣ "Face to interface" – application structure, research – Violka Kuś
On the basis of a case study, professional psychological tests and an expert linguistic analysis, an attempt was made to visualise the differences in human-machine relations. A table of information was designed in which the author focuses primarily on a graphical presentation of the imagined structure of Live and Clev.
