KissKiss is a photo series presenting kissing couples of all ages and races. Pictures are taken in natural poses. There are no retouching or embellishments, yet they capture the passion and emotion.
The kiss is a sign, a symbol of the sealing of two personalities. The characters are sincere and spontaneous in their reactions. Despite the apparent similarity of gesture, every couple does it differently.
Images also lead to other types of reflections: How much are we accustomed to the idealized portraits? What kind of response evokes in us a natural view of the bodies that have not been touched? How we react to the sight of a kiss without the infantile romanticism to which we have become accustomed via media and advertising.
