Rafał Dominik is a young artist, using and reworking styles and genres arising in pop culture. He’s a graduate of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, from the studio of Leon Tarasiewicz. Dominik makes animated films, digital images, collages, videos and “domestic-sized” sculptures, and has exhibited in the Zachęta National Gallery of Art, the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, the Arsenał Gallery in Białystok and BWA in Katowice.

Dominik perceives art and plasticity as an important element of social life. He also bring art to a broader audience, as well as bringing pop culture to art. His works include automotive themes, the disco polo music genre and consumerism. These strands spill over into graphics and 3D animation, creating striking miniatures.
