neTTheatre – Theatre in a Network of Connections is the world’s first Internet theatre, using the net as an integral part of its productions. Founded by Paweł Passini and his collaborators in 2007, it began its work with the premiere of a show titled Resting (Odpoczywanie). Internet users – in the hall and around the world – participated and commented using online chat. The group conducts research on new technological tools to be used onstage. Based on the results, scripts for future shows will be created, e.g. Poland’s largest interactive floor for the theatre show Ala Ma Sen, or the wired-for-sound furniture in The Sign of Jonah.
