The project Habitat (2017) is based on the metaphor of the home as a visual text, which over time is subject to gradual transformation. In structural terms, Habitat is a narrative hypertext, composed of three parallel, mutually referential variations of the same story. The most extensive component of the work is a diagram on the attributes of the visual “poem”, connected by the graphical index to the accompanying comic-style “guide”.
medium: digital graphics, artbook, installation
In contrast to Internet webcomics, Habitat is an analogue work, connecting in a hybrid way traditional media (such as a map and user manual) with a contemporary, non-linear storytelling method.
