The most important Polish website containing archival materials, completely revamped in 2019, presents documents, birth and death certificates, maps, photographs, genealogical data, collections, technical documentation. Descriptions and scans of materials are taken from Polish national archives. Everyone – from students and researchers to people looking for their roots and materials on their ancestors – will easily find their way around the website and receive clear information about copyrights and the possibility to use the resources. Teachers wanting to use Search Archives in class may use the suggested exercise templates.
The first version of the website was published in 2009 and it is continuously developed by the National Digital Archives.
