This project of the Lublin team behind „Grodzka Gate – NN Theatre” Centre demonstrates the multifarious possibilities of developing and sharing digital collections and creating paths that are user-friendly and appealing to digital culture audiences at the same time. Selected collections of photographs and oral history testimonies have been recompiled and shared as digital narratives pertaining to Lublin’s relevant sites, historical dates and figures.
An empathetic and thorough approach of the curators and historians behind „Second Life of a Story” project to this small yet highly interesting digital collection makes local history come to life and deepens users’ understanding of it.
