Different Tales
Games

Different Tales is a Warsaw-based developer exploring the idea of Slow Gaming: a trend in design focused around serious interactive narratives, rooted in the common human experience. The studio was founded by Jacek Brzeziński and Artur Ganszyniec, known for the first game in The Witcher series as well as their work on Dead Island and Hitman.

Brzeziński and Ganszyniec are both experienced travellers and the creators of Wanderlust Travel Stories, a one-of-a-kind anthology of interactive travel literature. For this project, they were joined by fellow globetrotters: Marta Malinowska, writer; Joanna Wołyńska, anthropologist; Karolina Sulej-Kubij, journalist; and Mateusz Kubik, yacht skipper. Art direction was provided by Piotr Niklas, an acclaimed artist collaborating with the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw.
